How to freeze CO2 laser cutting machine in winter

Why do laser equipment need antifreeze in winter?
Affected by the low-temperature environment in winter, when the laser equipment is operated or stored at a temperature lower than 0 ℃, the laser and water-cooling pipeline will freeze, and the volume of water will become larger after solidification, which will lead to the rupture or deformation of the internal pipeline of the laser and water-cooling system.
If the cold water pipeline is broken and started for operation, it may cause coolant overflow and damage to relevant core components. In order to avoid unnecessary losses, please take correct antifreeze measures.
Laser tube
The carbon dioxide laser tube is water-cooled. We'd better control the temperature at 25-30 degrees, because the energy is strongest at this temperature.
When the laser tube works in winter
1. Please add a certain proportion of antifreeze to prevent the circulating cooling water from freezing. Since the antifreeze is corrosive to a certain extent, according to the use requirements of the antifreeze, the antifreeze shall be diluted according to the antifreeze dilution ratio, and then added to the chiller for use. Customers who have not used antifreeze can ask the dealer, and the dilution ratio is determined according to the actual situation.
2. Do not add excessive antifreeze to the laser tube, because the cooling layer of the tube will affect the light quality. For the laser tube, the higher the frequency of use, the more frequent the frequency of water change. Otherwise, impurities such as calcium and magnesium in the purified water will adhere to the inner wall of the laser tube and affect the energy of the laser. Therefore, it is necessary to change the water frequently in summer or winter.
After the laser tube is finished in winter
1. Please drain the cooling water. If the water in the pipe is not drained, the cooling layer of the laser tube will freeze and expand, crack the laser cooling layer, and cause the laser tube to fail to work normally. The freezing crack of the cooling layer of the laser tube in winter is not within the scope of replacement. In order to avoid unnecessary losses, please do it in the correct way.
2. Auxiliary equipment such as air pump or air compressor can be used to drain the water in the laser tube. Customers using chillers or pumps can remove the chillers or pumps and place them in high-temperature rooms to prevent water circulation equipment from freezing, causing damage to chillers, pumps and other parts and causing you unnecessary trouble.
Water cooler
1. Generally speaking, for a cold water refrigerator that works all the time, the water will not freeze when flowing.
2. In cold winter, many customers will ignore that the cooling water needs to be replaced every day to avoid exceeding the specified temperature. It is difficult to feel the heat of the spindle motor due to the low external temperature.
3. Add antifreeze into the water tank of the chiller matched with the laser equipment to prevent the cooling water from freezing, so that the chiller can start up and operate normally in cold winter.
Conditions and methods for adding antifreeze to cooling water
1. Name: antifreeze glycol (also known as glycol), which can be purchased at local hardware and chemical stores and online, but there are restrictions on liquid transportation.
2. The ratio of deionized water to deionized water is at least about 30% and preferably 50% (70% of water and 30% of ethylene glycol).
3. It must be added when the ambient temperature is below zero (inclusive).
4. Ethylene glycol is not equal to ethanol (alcohol), please distinguish
In addition, the laser and water turbine system shall be stored and used in strict accordance with the storage temperature and working temperature, and the ambient temperature shall not be lower than 5 ℃
