Dew condensation is a normal natural phenomenon, but the impact on the equipment is something we need to consider when using the equipment. Especially in summer, the humidity in the south is higher, and water drops often appear on the wall, which brings a lot of trouble to our life and production. How to solve the condensation phenomenon of laser cutting machine? What are the precautions?
1. Ensure the enclosure is sealed
The enclosure of the fiber laser is of closed design, and the enclosure air conditioner or dehumidifier is installed. The purpose is to ensure that all components in the enclosure are in a relatively stable and safe temperature and humidity environment. If the chassis is not in a closed state, the high-temperature and high humidity air outside the chassis can enter the interior of the chassis. When encountering the internal water-cooled components, it will condense on its surface and cause possible damage. Therefore, attention should be paid to the following aspects in the inspection of the enclosure tightness: A. whether the doors of each cabinet exist and are closed tightly. B. Whether the lifting bolts on the top are tightened. C. Whether the protective cover of the unused communication control interface at the rear of the chassis is covered and whether the used one is fixed.
2. Startup sequence
Since it is impossible to completely seal the laser case, the air conditioner of the case will stop running after the power is cut off at night. If the air conditioner is not installed in the room or the air conditioner does not work at night, the external humid and hot air can gradually penetrate into the case. Therefore, when you restart the machine in the morning, you should pay attention to the following operating steps: A. start the main power supply of the laser (no light), and let the air conditioner of the cabinet run for about 30 minutes. B. Start the matching water chiller, wait for the water temperature to be adjusted to the predetermined temperature, and enable the laser light. Note: if the equipment of China Russia IE and other series is equipped with temperature and humidity controller, it is necessary to ensure that the air is under pressure. When the temperature and humidity meet the requirements, the chiller will start automatically. C. Suggestions for normal processing: if possible, on the premise of ensuring safety, the laser will not be powered off at night, and the air conditioner of the cabinet will be kept running. Or the laser shall be installed in the air-conditioning room and the air-conditioning shall be kept in continuous and stable operation (including at night)
3. Avoid dew condensation in the internal and external environment of the laser with air conditioning. If dew condensation does not form flowing water droplets, there will be no problem. If there are a large number of flowing water droplets and there is water collapse around the exciter, it is necessary to establish a working environment without dew condensation for the laser with air conditioning.
4. It is recommended to add an evaporator between the gas source and the processing head to keep the gas temperature close to the ambient temperature and reduce the risk of condensation.
5. Water temperature setting cooling water temperature has a direct impact on electro-optic conversion efficiency, stability and dew condensation. Generally, the cooling water temperature is set as follows: the water temperature of tap water (cooling laser module) should be set at about 21 ℃. For lasers above 2500W, the water temperature of deionized DI water (cooling Optics) should be set between 27 ° C and 33 ° C. This temperature should be adjusted according to the ambient temperature and humidity. Generally speaking, the higher the ambient temperature, the greater the humidity, and the water temperature of DI water should be increased accordingly. The basic principle is that the DI water temperature should be above the dew point.
